Defence Ministry to Partner with France on Technology Transfer 

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni has said that Nigeria is ready to partner with France on technology transfer.

He made this known when he received the Ambassador of France to Nigeria and her delegates in his office, Ship House, Abuja on 12th October, 2023.

According to the Minister, Nigeria and France signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2016 that would lead to more serious cooperations.

He pointed out that technological transfer between the two countries would further strengthen the bilateral relations both country has been enjoying.

In addition, the Minister of State, Dr. Muhammed Bello Matawalle MON said that the partnership between Nigeria and France would aid the fight against insurgency in Nigeria 

The Ambassador of France to Nigeria, Emmanuelle Blatmann said that France wants to strengthen the ongoing bilateral relations by supporting Nigeria to be autonomous in technological training.
