MS. Ochida Ahubi Suzan

Director Reforms Coordination and Service Improvement

Ms. Ochida, Ahubi Suzan was born on 28th November, 1966 in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria. She started her career in the Federal Civil Service as an Admin/Mobilization Officer Grade Level 08 in the Directorate for Social Mobilization (MAMSER), which transformed into the National Orientation Agency. She further transferred her services into the mainstream of the Federal Civil Service in 2005 and grew through the cadre as at when due till she was promoted to the post of Director (Administration) in 2018.

Ms. Ochida, Ahubi Suzan served in several ministries/agencies which included:

Directorate for Social Mobilization (MAMSER)/ National Orientation Agency (NOA), Defunct Ministry of Cooperation and Integration in Africa and Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Implementation Committee of the White Paper on the Commission of Inquiry into the Alienation of Government Landed Property).

She is currently the Director, Reform Coordination and Service Improvement Department and some of the previous Appointments held included Director/Staff, Presidential Implementation Committee of the White Paper on the Commission of Inquiry into the Alienation of Government landed Property, Board Member, Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) and Secretary/Member, AD-HOC Committee to Resolve Disputes on Delta Steel Company and Township I, Estate Owvian Delta State.

She participated in several committees, conferences, workshop, functions and operations within and outside Nigeria among which include Committee to Review Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of Nigeria, United Nations General Assembly 2022- Nigeria International Economic Partnership Forum, New York, USA, Member, Ministry of Defence Ministerial Technical Transition Team, FIABCI 64th World Congress, Taichung, Taiwan, Meeting with the African Union (A.U) Member States and Regional Economic Communities on the Assessment of the Implementation of Women, Peace and Security in Africa (Dakar, Senegal), Sensitization Workshop on Gender Mainstreaming for Gender Desk Officers of Defence and Security Agencies (NDC, Abuja), Workshop on the Sensitization for Key Implementation of Reforms in the Federal Civil Service (FMFBNP Abuja) and Joint Stakeholders Meeting on National Ethics and Integrity in Nigeria Civil Service.

She attended several courses commensurate to her cadre/rank which included Structural Mandatory Assessment-Based Training Programme (SMAT-P) PSIN, Abuja, Service-Wide Training on Performance Management System (OHCSF/PSIN, Abuja), Modernizing the Public Service (GTC London, United Kingdom), The Executive Program in Public Administration (Dubai, UAE), Intensive Training Programme for Federal Civil Servants on GL 12-14 (Samfort Associates, ICC Abuja.

She has travelled to different countries which included UK, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Sweden in Europe, U.S.A in North America), Dubai UAE in Asia, Senegal and Ghana in Africa

She holds the following qualifications Fellow, Corporate Administration Institute (FCAI), Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics), University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Postgraduate Diploma Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State, West Africa School Certificate (W.A.S.C) Government Girls Secondary School, Idah, Kogi State and First School Leaving Certificate (F.S.L.C) NORCROSS Methodist Primary School, Otukpo, Benue State.

She loves travelling, listening to music and mentoring people. She is blessed with two children and many dependents.
