Mr. Olusa Dada Joseph was born on 28th March, 1964 in Oka-Akoko in Akoko South West of Ondo State, Nigeria. He started his career in Federal Civil Service as Planning Officer I Grade level 9 in Ministry of Agriculture. He was thereafter converted to the Administrative cadre where he grew through the cadre as at when due till he was promoted to the post of Director from 1st January, 2019.
Mr Olusa Dada Joseph served in several Ministries which include Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development and presently in the Ministry of Defence where he is currently the Director, Planning Research & Statistics Department.
Some of the previous appointment held included Head of Administration Unit, Federal Ministry of Agriculture Ondo State field office, Chairman of Forum of Heads of Federal Government Establishment, Ondo State, State Coordinator of Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Ondo State office, Members of Board of NACA and NCGGW, Director, Special Duties Ministry of Women Affairs, Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Ministry of Women Affairs, Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Ministry of Defence.
He participated in several committees, conferences, workshop, functions and operations within and outside Nigeria which includes In-house Middle Management Workshop from 28th to 30th September, 2009, Abuja, Management skills enhancement for Public Sector Organization from 16th to 18th October, 2012, Abuja, Workshop on Leadership Development for Directorate grades from 15th to 17th November, 2016, Participatory Partnerships for community Development, Warri Delta State from 3rd to 4th September, 2014, Problem Analysis and Decision-Making Workshop, from 24th to 28th June, 2013. Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Capital Budgeting Strategies and Techniques November from 30th to December 1st, 2017, Leadership Masterclass held from 26th to 27th March, 2021 and Change Management and building Leadership Competence in the Public Sector, in December, 2022 Turkey
He has travelled to different countries and their respective continents which includes Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Benin Republic among others
He holds the following qualifications MSc in Crop Production, BSc in Plant Science, Higher School Certificate, West Africa School Certificate and First School Leaving Certificate
He loves Gospel Music, Farming. He is married to one wife and blessed with Four children.
