Mr Alli Ademola Wasiu was born on 27th January, 1964 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He joined the Federal Civil Service as Account 1 (Audit) on Salary Grade Level 09 in Ministry of Defence. He grew through the Cadre/Ranks as at when due till he was promoted to a post of Director with effect from August 2019 to date.
Mr ALLI Ademola Wasiu served in several Ministries which include Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Office of Secretary to the Government, Ministry of Budget and National Planning. He is currently the Director, Finance and Accounts in the Ministry of Defence.
Some of the previous appointments held by Alli include Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs from September 2020 to March 2021 as the Director, Finance & Accounts, Office of Secretary to the Government from August 2019 to September 2020 as the Director, Internal Audit, Ministry of Budget and National Planning from 2017 to August 2019 as the Deputy Director, Social Investment Programme.
He has participated in several Committees, Conferences, Workshops, Functions and Operations within and outside Nigeria among which include the Conference on Prudent Financial Management and Analysis Retreat in Kuva, Nairobi, Kenya in 2022, CEA Professional Services Limited: A 5-days Corporate Training on IPSAS Complaint Accounting Software Tally, ERP9 Financials with Practical Hand-on session of the live version, Nasarawa State on 24th September, 2021, WORLD BANK, Global Social Protection & Jobs Core Courses from 1st to 10th May 2018 in Washington, DC, USA,.
Mr ALLI Ademola Wasiu attended several courses commensurate to his Cadre/Rank which include Accounting & Financial Management for SACA from 19th to 23rd May, 2008, SCAPS: Role of the Chartered Accountants in the New Millennium, Abuja from 29th February to 2nd March 2000, National War College Military Leader Seminar on Civil Military and Professionalism in a Democracy on 21st January, 2000.
He has also travelled to several countries in the world which includes USA, France, China and Turkey.
He holds a Master in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Accounting Degrees of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife from 1995 to 1997 and 1985 to 1989.
He is also a Fellow both of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Mr ALLI Ademola Wasiu loves reading, listening to music, travelling and making friends. At his leisure, he plays Chess.
He is married with wives and blessed with eight children.
