Dr. Raji Isiaka Ogunsola was born on 15 March, 1967 in Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria.
He joined the Federal Civil Service as Personnel Officer I on Salary Grade Level 09/I in Federal Ministry of Health on 8 August, 1993. He grew through the Cadre as at when due till he was promoted to Director Administration with effect from 1st January, 2017. Mr. Raji served in several Ministries which included Federal Ministry of Health, National Programme on Immunization and Federal Ministry of Works and Sports Development.
He is currently the Director Navy Affairs in the Ministry of Defence. Some of the previous appointments held includes Special Assistant to Honourable Minister (Administration), FMH, Special Assistant to Interim Coordinator (NPI); Director (General Services, FMYSD. He was Director, General Services in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development before his current appointment as the Director Navy Affairs, Ministry of Defence.
He participated in several functions/operations within and outside Nigeria including: Nigeria contingence to All African Games; Algeria 2017, All African Games Morocco 2018; and Chairman Marketing Committee, National Festival Edo 2020.
Mr. Raji attended Courses commensurate to his cadre/rank which include: Sectoral Management Course London (2004); Protocol and Event Management Ghana; and Leadership and Change Management Turkey (2022). He has also travelled to several countries in the world which included United Kingdom, Dubai, India
He holds M.Sc Industrial Organization Psychology 1995 from University of Ibadan; B.Sc Psychology (1990) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife (1990); Honorary Doctorate Degree 2023 from IRSBACCOM University, Republic of Benin; and he holds Membership of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria.
He loves reading; travelling; making friends and creative writing. He is married with one wife (Mrs. Raji Taibat Adebola) and blessed with four (4) children.
