AN ABRIDGED PROFILE OF JOEL, ADEOYE CHRISTOPHER
Joel, Adeoye Christopher was born on 17th December, 1973 in Ighera Quarters, Otuo, Owan-East Local Government Area of Edo State. He attended Igbedoke Primary School, Oluma Quarters, Otuo. Thereafter, he proceeded to Ifewara Comprehensive High School, Ifewara, Osun State for his WASC/GCE Ordinary level.
He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria between 1992 – 1997 from where He obtained a B.Sc. Business Administration. He also did the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1999 from same University; M.Sc. Finance from the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2009 and presently a PhD Student of the ANAN University, Jos – Plateau State.
Besides, he is a member of the following Professional Bodies: Fellow, Institute of Development and Project Management (2012); a Certified member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN: 2023) & a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified System Accountants (CCSA: 2025).
He joined the Federal Civil Service on 17th January, 2000, beginning with the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory (MFCT: 2000 – April, 2004); OHCSF May, 2004 – August, 2004; MOD: Sept. 2004 – March, 2013; Fed. Ministry of Water Resources (2013 – March, 2014); Fed. Ministry of Science & Tech.: April, 2014 – August, 2017); Fed. Ministry of Budget & National Planning: (Sept.2017 – Dec. 2017); OHCSF: (January, 2018 – August, 2018); Federal Ministry of Environment: Sept. 2018 – February, 2019); Federal Ministry of Budget & National Planning: March, 2019 – Dec, 2019); OHCSF: January,2020 – August, 2020); Federal Ministry of Works & Housing: Sept. 2019 – Dec, 2019); Federal Ministry of Agric. & Food Security: January, 2021 – January, 2024); Bureau for Public Procurement(BPP): February 2024 – January, 2025); MOD: February, 2025 to Date.
Joel, Adeoye Christopher is happily married with children. His hobbies are: reading, listening to news and regular Gym activities.
