DR. Ahmad Ibrahim Sulaiman

Director Air Force Affairs

Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Sulaiman was born on 7th May, 1969 in Borno State, Nigeria. He joined the Federal Civil Service as an Admin Officer I Grade Level 09 in the office of the Head of the Civil Service (OHCSF). He grew through the Cadre/Ranks as at when due till he was promoted Director Grade Level 17 with effect from 1st January, 2021.

Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Sulaiman served in several Ministries which included Federal Ministry of Finance, (Office of the Accountant General of the Federation) from 2005 to 2009, Federal Ministry of Transport from 2010 to 2013 and State House Aso Rock Presidential Villa Abuja from 2013 to 2020.

He is currently the Director Air Force Affairs in the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Some of the Previous appointment held include Assistant Director Policy Coordination Federal Ministry of Transportation from 2010 to 2013, Deputy Director/Chairman ACTU State House Villa from 2013 to 2020, Deputy Director Navy (Hardware) MOD from 2020 to 2022 and Director Overseeing Navy Affairs Dept. MOD with effect from 2022

He participated in the following Committees Member Presidential Committee on Integrated Transportation Infrastructure Master Plan from 2011 to 2035, Ministerial Committee on Cabotage Law Review Federal Ministry of Transport in 2012, Member Finance Sub-Committee of the Presidential Committee on payment of disengaged Civil Servant Severance entitlement, representing the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation in 2008

Courses attended include Public Sector Management, organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency September 17, 2009 in South Korea, International Security Management Course (ISMC) II Maritime Security & Transboundary Management, Nigeria Institute of International Relation – Lagos, 18 September 2021, Nigeria and National Training Workshop Strengthening Inter-Agency Cooperation for Treaty Implementation and Reporting in Nigeria. From 11 to 14, October, 2021, Nigeria.

Qualification(s) He holds Master in Industrial Relations (MILR) 1997 from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) History from the University of Maiduguri (UNMAID) 1994 and National Certificate in Education (NCE) 1989 from Borno College of Education Maiduguri Borno State.
