NAFRC — Skills & business training
The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, retrains retiring and retired personnel in trades, agriculture, business and professional disciplines. Courses run on a rolling intake.

MPB administers pensions, gratuities and survivors' benefits for retired Armed Forces personnel and their dependants, in line with the Pensions Reform Act and applicable defence rules.

Veterans have access to military hospitals nationwide and to civilian referral arrangements under the medical reciprocity framework coordinated by the Department of Health Services.

The Honourable Minister inaugurated dedicated committees to strengthen the welfare and resettlement of veterans of the Armed Forces.
Three committees were sworn in at Ship House on 29 April 2026, including a dedicated Veterans Welfare Committee tasked with reviewing pensions, healthcare access and resettlement programmes for retired Armed Forces personnel.
